MAIN: Classic Beef Lasagne
Lasagne has got to be one of my favourite family meals, it’s a classic dish in our home. Today, we usually make ours with vegan quorn mince. The smell of onions frying in the pan and the simmering mince really conjure up family meal times for me! My lasagne recipe here is simple and easy to follow and although I say ‘beef’ in the title, you can substitute the beef for whichever meat or meat substitution you desire. There is always some room for creative interpretation when it comes to lasagne isn’t there? Some people love adding chilli, mushrooms, additional garlic, carrots or even peppers or courgettes into their version.…

Pizza, need I say more?! Who doesn’t love a slice of delicious cheese and tomato on a soft doughy base with toppings? Are you craving pizza now? I am! But I do have to admit, pizza does get a very bad reputation as a classic comfort food. Enjoyed in moderation it’s okay though right? Well here is my classic vegetable pizza recipe (I think we’re getting one of our five-a-day in by adding the vegetables on top but don’t quote me on that). This recipe is simple and the variety of vegetable toppings you could choose to add is endless so this really is a great one to customise to…
