This phonics worksheet has been designed to test your child’s knowledge of vowel sounds. They are asked to both recognise images and sound-out the word so that they can fill in the missing vowel sound. Each worksheet has questions including all five vowel sounds to make sure that there is variety and also that the most possible learning acquisition is taking place per page.

I have handmade all the images myself so you certainly won’t find this sheet anywhere else on the internet! Wherever possible, I have made the images in black and white to allow for as much colouring in as possible too. (This will also save on printer ink which is especially useful if you are a teacher printing this sheet for a whole class of students!).
